Join us for a memorial march and ceremony to remember the 500 members of the Miami of Indiana who were loaded onto canal boats and removed from the state to eventually end in Oklahoma as the Miami Tribe of Oklahoma. We will meet at our Tribal Complex on West 6th street in Peru Indiana and then march down to the Wabash River where those 500 were loaded onto canal boats.
