Miami Days at the Seven Pillars

Miami Heritage Days at the Seven Pillars

Miami Heritage Days at the Seven Pillars was an idea from Tribal Councilman Vince Knauff and began in 2014. The mission of this event is to be a learning and educational weekend at the Seven Pillars for the public to be made aware of the Tribe’s history, ongoing mission, experience our culture firsthand, and fellowship with the Miami People. Most years, the Tribe sets up Wikiamis (the Longhouse), and has tribal booths of food and merchandise from participating Miami of Indiana members. The Drum Group also participates to provide drumming, singing, and dancing. Please enjoy the photo gallery below from previous Days at the Seven Pillars events. Our deepest thanks go out to all of those Miami who have participated in the past and will in the future. We always encourage ALL Miami of Indiana to participate and fellowship with other Tribe members and our guests. Together, we can all make each event more successful than the year before and create new long-lasting relationships among Tribe members and the public!
